A recent study by a Leading Consumer Magazine found “Sound machines, which can make you feel like you’re in a forest or at the beach, worked almost as well as (prescription) drugs at putting survey respondents to sleep.” They also concluded that sound machines were more effective than over-the-counter drugs or supplements.

Stanford Medical Center is now offering Ecotones Duet units free of charge to patients via the Hospital’s Concierge Department. "Getting a good night's sleep is part of getting better," said a senior member of the noise-reduction team.
