The Ecotones comes with a selection of 12 extremely high quality natural sound recordings of up to 30 minutes or more in length.
Each SoundStory includes a wide range of complimentary sounds that are mixed into the foundational sound track to add richness and depth, creating a natural environment even more conducive to relaxation and sleep, or to creating a more soothing sound environment in general at home, at work or wherever you have a need to minimize disruptive noise.
In Adaptive Mode, Ecotones gradually adds enriching sounds and adjusts the volume automatically to neutralize disruptive noises. When the disruption subsides, Ecotones gradually returns to the restful and relaxing SoundStory you chose. Or you can use it in manual mode, where you control the volume and richness without Ecotones’ automatic adaption.

Choose Adaptive Mode and Ecotones tunes into your environment, “listening” with its built-in microphone for unusual and intrusive sounds that can disrupt sleep or relaxation. When it detects unusual noises, Ecotones mixes additional sound that compliments the primary SoundStory, creating a complexity or richness to help overcome the distraction. Meanwhile, it may automatically adjust volume if necessary to compensate for the intrusive sound. When the sound intrusion abates, Ecotones returns to the original SoundStory automatically. Not only does Ecotones' Adaptive Mode help minimize background noise, it helps you stay tuned to the sound you've chosen so you can stay relaxed and on a path toward a good night's sleep.
